The Giant was originally built in 1923 as one of the great warehouses that once lined Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta. An adaptive use of a historic warehouse, the empty building was acquired in 1995 and converted to 48 residential open lofts plus ground level office space.
When completed, we leased the units until 2002. The individual units were sold in 2004.
The Giant’s original structure remains evident throughout with solid concrete columns and floors, exposed brick walls, factory windows, high ceilings and open floor plans. These features make the property one of Atlanta’s rare, authentic loft buildings. From Giant’s rooftop, one can take in an expansive view of its well-known neighbors, including Centennial Olympic Park, the CNN Center, the World of Coke, Philips Arena, the Georgia Dome, and the Georgia Aquarium.
