The Signal Knitting Mill Chattanooga, TN

The Signal Knitting Mill building was originally built in 1916 on three acres in the heart of Chattanooga.

For seventy years, the Signal Knitting Mill property was responsible for employing 1,700 people in the Chattanooga area.  The buildings are an intricate piece of Chattanooga, a tribute to the fine craftsmanship of old mill buildings from the early twentieth century.

Acquired as a vacant property in 1998, it is currently home to a fine restaurant and an antique mall. As the housing market recovers, the antique mall will be converted to residential for sale lofts.

The Knitting Mill is located on the Tennessee River, part of the growing arts district, allowing the residents the ability to walk to their favorite shops, art galleries, restaurants, or their places of business.
